Monarch College Support Services
Through our admissions process and through ongoing assessments, we work with each student to determine the level of support they might need outside of class during the week and/or on the weekends. Monarch offers an array of personalized support services for enrolled students. There is a base support plan for each class level that is required; additional supplemental supports vary depending on individualized needs. Support needs above the base plan are assessed and re-evaluated on an annual basis.
Supports include: Individual Scheduled Support Hours; Weekly Check-Ins; Student Life Sessions; As Needed, After-Hours Support & Consultation
* Monarch Fees subject to change with new academic years.
** Supports may be funded by state developmental disability resources IF AVAILABLE to the student and/or established fees paid to Monarch through student resources.
*** Monarch College Support Services are not eligible for funding through Federal Student Aid programs.
Qualifying students may apply for financial aid from the Federal Pell Grant program. Students with intellectual disabilities are eligible for federal financial aid thanks to the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008. To apply for aid, students must complete a Free Application for Federal Aid (FAFSA). For more information about aid for students with intellectual disabilities, visit the Federal Student Aid Website.
Visit our Frequently Asked Questions page for additional information or contact The UNCG Financial Aid Office directly at 336-334-5702. You can talk with any counselor at the Financial Aid Office but you may find that Cathryn Garrett has particularly relevant knowledge for students with disabilities who are applying for financial aid. She can be reached at email@example.com.
The Bill Estimator is currently based on estimated tuition and fees for the 2019-2020 academic year. This will help you estimate the costs of attending UNCG for a single semester before you receive a bill from the university.
